This book deals with issues of soft law in the context of international space law. It is the result of ensuing years of research. It is not the purpose of this book to provide a complete collection of soft law instruments in international space law. It is rather intended to give readers a review of arguments for and against soft law with their different theoretical foundations and then show how the consequences of the review can be applied into identification and analysis of soft law instruments in space law. In addition, compliance with soft law is to be assessed and explained with regard to the space debris mitigation guidelines.
